Economic Development AgencyInformation on Business Grants, Loans and Services to Make Your Business More CompetitiveCall or visit the Land Use Office at Canton Town Hall for information on how to make your business more competitive. We are constantly learning of new programs available at little or no cost to help businesses in Connecticut. We have a book to loan out that should be of particular interest to many Canton businesses called Up Against the Wal-Marts: How Your Business Can Prosper in the Shadow of the Retail Giants by Don Taylor and Jeanne Smalling-Archer. Even if you do not compete with the likes of Wal-Mart and Home Depot, this book is a must for making your business prosper.
