INLAND WETLANDS AND WATERCOURSES AGENCY
Established by state statue in 1973, the Inland Wetalnds and Watercources Agency is charged to preserve wetlands and watercources and to regulate activities in and around them. It is mandated to assure adequate, non-polluted water supplies and to prevent damage to streams and their adjuoining wetlands and natural ecosystems.
