TEMPORARY STUDY COMMITTEE ON PEDESTRIAN & VEHICULAR SAFETY
There exists a strong public interest in enhancing the safety of pedestrian and vehicular traffic within the Town of Canton, primarily, in the Greater Collinsville proper. This interest is well documented in the 2003 Plan of Conservation and Development, citizen surveys and through the observation of townspeople who have observed the dramatic growth in tourism in Canton. The Board of Selectmen have established this temporary study committee in order to document findings, define recommendations and identify potential funding sources related to pedestrian and vehicular safety. The committee was established in October of 2006 for a period not to exceed twenty-four (24) months. Click HERE to view their final report to the Board of Selectmen.
