Welcome!

Welcome to the Town of Canton’s newly redesigned website which symbolizes the commitment of the Board of Selectmen and Administration to maximize the amount of information and resources available to our community and interested parties. Residents and visitors are encouraged to explore our “electronic front door” and provide us feedback on your thoughts and suggestions.

CTCleanEnergyOptions is a Department of Public Utilities Control (DPUC) approved program that allows any CL&P customer the opportunity to support clean energy made from approved renewable resources such as wind, small hydro and landfill gas.  Customers who enroll continue to receive electric delivery service from their utility and pay a small clean energy surcharge.  Canton has joined the Connecticut Clean Energy Communities program.  When you join the program, you are also helping Canton qualify for a free solar electric system for one of our Town buildings.  It's an easy way to make a difference for our community, for Connecticut, and for our world!
