  Where is YOUR house number?

Can your house number be clearly identified from the street?  According to Ordinance #214, numbers should be at least 3" in height and clearly visible from the road.  This includes approved building lots prior to the commencement of any site work or construction.  Our police, fire and ambulance personnel need to get to you as quickly as possible in the event of an emergency.  Please help them to help you!  Click here to read more about this requirement to be sure you are in compliance.

CTCleanEnergyOptions is a Department of Public Utilities Control (DPUC) approved program that allows any CL&P customer the opportunity to support clean energy made from approved renewable resources such as wind, small hydro and landfill gas.  Customers who enroll continue to receive electric delivery service from their utility and pay a small clean energy surcharge.  Canton has joined the Connecticut Clean Energy Communities program.  When you join the program, you are also helping Canton qualify for a free solar electric system for one of our Town buildings.  It's an easy way to make a difference for our community, for Connecticut, and for our world!
